VPN Policy on what routers?

Hello

This is exactly what I’m looking for: VPN Dashboard - GL.iNet Router Docs 4 but I don’t know on what routers it is available?

I have mudi router (GL-E750V2C6) and there is no option to switch to policy mode. Only global mode.

  1. I’d like to have that option on mudi as well if possible
  2. I’m looking for home router and for home router it’s a must - which ones have that?

Mudi has the latest firmware (0326Release1) version 4.0.

If you’re referring to VPN Policy Mode, this feature is already available on your Mudi (v4.3.26).

If, however, you’re looking for policy-based routing across multiple VPN instances, this functionality was introduced starting from firmware version 4.8.

You can try it by installing the Mudi 4.8 beta:

For home routers, the Flint 2, Flint 3, and the upcoming Flint 3e all support firmware stable v4.8, enabling policy mode for multiple VPN instances.

Thanks, I’m looking for the policy based routing to be able to assign different vpn connection for different devices or based on connection type.

Usually I prefer to not install beta versions. Do you know when the testing phase is finished and official release is planned for Mudi 4.8?

There is currently no timeline that can be shared.
But I don't think it will happen any time soon.
