While this thread is one year ago. If you want to use the swich to turn on/off vpn, the good news is that this function is in the default firmware already.

If you are using firmware v3.x, go to more settings → button settings

You need to have openvpn profiles before you can do this.

Thanks, I’ve seen that feature!

I’d like to use the side switch to select different openvpn configuration and possibly also to change the WiFi SSID name.
It would be great to have two completely different “configuration profile” and to select them simply using the physical switch.

While in this level, you have to modify the scripts in the router directly and there is no specific guide.
