I have a wireguard server in location A. I connect to this wireguard server using your glmt3000 router from location B. For this I enable the wireguard client and the built in kill switch. What other settings do I need to change to ensure there is no location leakage.

Do I also need to go in the menu to network and DNS and set — Allow Custom DNS to Override VPN DNS as OFF.

When the VPN is enabled, DNS requests from LAN clients will always be routed through the VPN.
In the default DNS - Automatic mode, DNS requests from LAN clients will be sent to the VPN DNS.

If you do not require custom DNS (or using ADG Home or encrypted DNS), you can also disable "Allow Custom DNS to Override VPN DNS".
