Sorry, the system wouldn't let me reply yesterday. Said I exceeded my number of posts for a newbie. I did upgrade the firmware. Did you see the post how I solved it? A speed test shows the VPN is far slower than without it connected.

Ah, did not see it. Good too know it got solved by entering the right credentials.
VPN is always slower and OpenVPN is much slower. Try WireGuard instead, if possible.
