Okay, maybe it's my mistake, maybe it's the ISP's, maybe Beryl AX doesn't get along with it.
I have a 2500/1000 line, but it runs at 1000/1000 according to iperf3 in parallel, and every single device test runs at 650/650 according to Ookla.
The WLAN bandwidth detected by the devices is normally asynchronous.
This is the case from activation with reset or any configuration. Obviously, I am also discussing this with the ISP.
Do you have any ideas?
What is your network typology? The beryl AX will only be able to attain higher than gigabit if you are using wireless as the LAN port is capped at 1gb. So if you are trying connecting via ethernet on LAN or via a switch connected to the LAN port then your bottleneck is that port, 1gb.
Only the WAN port is 2.5gb and if you were to swap LAN and WAN around then your WAN port would only be 1gb so that will become the bottleneck.
If this router isn't going to be used as a travel router then the flint 3 would probably be more better suited as it has 2.5gb WAN and LAN ports
Trying to get high speeds on wireless is also another challenge in itself as you would need to have a solid / close proximity connection to achieve anywhere near your full ISP speeds
Well, I certainly don't walk around the house with cables, I use Wi-Fi and I have devices that use it, it's ok the Beryl. Just the PC, from where I'm writing, uses 1.2 on WLAN, and if I need to, I go to 2Gb in the other room, so adding the other devices would use at least 2Gb of the 3Gb offered by Beryl ax.
But my question was about synchronism. Even if the PC is far away and below 1 Gb, it limits the download speed to the upload speed, for example, 1200/600 on WLAN and 600/600 on WAN.
However, for the accumulation, if I use iperf3 from the router, the port used is the WAN, so it can go to 2.5 Gb.
