WFH job quick questions.

I have a wfh job while they allow travel outside the us for only up to 1-2 weeks I told them I’d be out for like 1-2 months lol.

However…… My company allows use of our own personal desktops so I bypass the issues that most people have.

Currently I connect to a program that they download on to my PC which then requires me to connect to a vpn that they use.

I was already passed through the network test only thing they require us to do is connect to speedtest.net and pass a 20mb dl and 3 upload speed

I’d be doing this from the Philippines just wanted to be corrected if im wrong but I would be doing this in this example

PH Desktop hard wired > into GLI modem > into PH modem > into Las vegas Home GLI modem (wireguard) > company VPN > and back.

Do I need 2 wireguard GLI modems ? or can I use a brume 2 server and 1 GLI modem?

Hi

You can follow this tutorial to set up a VPN server at home:
Build Your Own WireGuard Home Server with Two GL.iNet Routers

Using a Brume 2 as the server and another travel router as the client is sufficient.

Please note:

  1. Your home network should have a public IP address.
  2. It’s recommended to set up and test the VPN at home to avoid remote setup/troubleshooting issues.
  3. You can connect Brume 2 to GoodCloud for easy remote management.
  4. VPN speeds may be impacted by long-distance or international connections.
