What are the future plans for Slate AX?

Looking around the website, i don't see any Beta firmwares and there is no OP24 firmware since it has closed source drivers, Slate AX uses same exact hardware as Flint, which also has no Beta firmware and no OP24 firmware.

The hardware has been out for +3 years now and its same on Slate AX and Flint. So my question to GLiNet staff. What is the future road map for Slate AX router??

Will it be stuck with OP21 for the rest of its life cycle?? As I said, it has been 3 years and manufacturer still won't give you access to drivers to transition to OP24 or even OP23.

I honestly would like to know the 3 - 5 year plan for Slate AX router.

Thanks in advance.

It was announced that this router would be one of the ones in the Astrowarp beta and a version 4.7 version would be forthcoming to support that, but sadly it hasn't appeared yet.

Cheers.

So that's the 3-5 year plan for Slate AX? :unamused:

That would need GL-iNet to comment on.

I'm just pointing out, as an owner/user, that the device isn't abandonware (yet).
