Since 2025 is over, what do you expect from GL.iNet in 2026?
What products do you expect or think they will release?
Do you think we’ll see a Flint 4 router?
Do you think they will finally deliver what the community expects the Flint 4 to include?

Still 4 hours 32 minutes of 2025 yet here ![]()
What do I expect in 2026 (not what I want):
4.9 firmware supporting AmneziaWG for AXT1800
Mango 7 in a bright yellow the same form factor as a competitor but with WiFi 7
I already replied to the 2025 thread in 2026 so I gonna post it here again ![]()
A less popular one would be a powerline adapter with full OpenWrt support, currently I have been exploring a couple but instantly learned these are either pretty fast EOL or hard to integrate.
I had a look to Tp-link Tl-wpa8631p which only has 8mb flash and discontinued for OpenWrt, and a Devolo Magic 2 next.
With the Devolo one, powerline drivers will never get an entrance in OpenWrt due to licenses, however there are scripts which use binwalk which extract the ipk packages from the original devolo firmware files, the problem is with newer OpenWrt version APK is required, it is possible to extract those ipks and change the Makefile version octal count so it can work and then recompiled to APK, but to automate such thing is pretty overkill to me also because any source is prohibited and patching isn't really feasible to me.
I think GL-iNet could have a good position in this market especially for people who are interested to see a powerline adapter with a bit better security compared to those powerline adapters which have firmware older than 5 years and then I'm looking especially for wifi, about those powerline protocols I'm not gonna discuss the insecurities that is beyond my point I understand the implications very well, g.Hn seem to be the newer one, and I believe it uses a wps type/AES-128 encryption not the best but also I'm fine with it, the wifi security is more important to me and a power socket in it.
It is for me for a garden house camera inside so ![]()
