"When will the next 5G router be released?"

Good day,
I have a MEET Spitz AX, but unfortunately I had to replace it.
The problem is that every time the IP address changes, it takes about 30 seconds to reconnect.
Other routers manage this within 1–3 seconds.
Since in Italy many SIM providers change the IP address every 4 hours, this is a real issue.
Thank you.
Oliver

I don't understand that title of this thread. You may want to re-title it. It sounds like you're trying to report a perceived bug.

I believe this vulnerability of the router has been known for quite some time. I wanted to ask whether a new router, with faster reconnection after an IP change, will be released in the near future?
I've since sold the MEET Spitz AX and am now using my SIM card again with my old LTE router. Otherwise, I will purchase a different 5G router.
Thank you.

That doesn't sound like a vulnerability..

That sounds like it could/would be fixed with a firmware update.

If the problem hasn't been solved after more than two years, I don't think it ever will be.

A bit like the issue/bug of modem.

Sorry for the bad experience.

If you have a GL 5G router, we can capture the cellular air log and submit it to the modem manufacturer for further inspection.

For the next 5G router, I think meet us in early 2026.

X3000 has been awesome, for the next 5G router I would like to see

  • at least 1 more Ethernet port (to support WAN2)
  • USB 3.0
  • eSIM support
