Why can't I turn off Mudi-7 while it's plugged into a power source?

Just what the title says. I wasn’t using my new Mudi-7 and was going to keep it plugged in. But as soon as I plug it in, it turns on. And moreover if I try to turn it off in the menu, the power-off options is disabled.

Why?

Do you want to charge the router but don't want it to start?

You can try turning off this feature to see if it works.

Thanks. That fixed it. (Although it’s a strange choice to enable that feature by default. Which is technically, disable, because it’s a double negative there.)

OK.

Thank you for your update.

Because the product was initially designed primarily as a travel router, like other travel routers.

If it defaults to only charging and not operating upon power-on, it might cause more usage problems.

This might make new users think the product can't start, so it's set to be on by default and needs to be manually turned off.

Sorry.
