I have several gl.inet routers in use, and now I have bought some SF1200 and had to realize that these do not have the application “Captive Portal”, why is that so? Even the small Mango has that.
Is this still coming in an update?

Asking myself exactly the same. Wondering about this missing item in the GL-menu. But manually installing of modul ‘nodogsplash’ and running on guest wlan works. Configuration and modifying the splash screen needs to go via SSH …

Thanks, I did exactly the same, the manual way.
nodogsplash is not such a big package, so it would fit easy into the “core”.
Especially when you want to use the SF1200 for clients, a captive portal is a useful thing.

do you by any chance have a tutorial on how to do this for the GL-SFT1200 Opal. Im still new but trying to learn the functions of this mobile router.
I mainly tether the internet from my phone through the router but I was interested in adding a portal on a guest net in order to let my coworkers know that this is my network and if they want to use it to come see me lol
