I’m using the opal GL-SFT1200 and a few days ago I was at hotel and my router worked perfectly. Now I’m at a new one and no matter how many times I reset it and restart it I keep getting a notification that it is connected to the WiFi but not the internet. Does anyone know a way to fix this. Thank you so much!
Ask the front desk if they use a captive portal and how to access it.
Turn off your VPN, personal DNS, adblocker if using
Turn off DNS Rebinding Attack Protection and Override DNS Settings for All Clients if selected
The default address of 192.168.8.1 might be used by the Hotel for something try changing it.
Clone the mac address of a working device on the network like a phone.
You might need to us a random Mac address also
