I currently have a Netgear Orbi RBK50 and it is an amazing product IMO but it seems that WiFi regulations changed recently where I live and the macOS I have is reporting that channels 38~64 can no longer be used for 5 GHz.
Unfortunately, the Orbi RBK50 can’t do above 64 so I am considering a new Mesh solution. I am thinking Velica as I love GL-iNet but I want to make sure it won’t be reserving the high channels for the mesh networks.
I also would like to ask if it supports Ethernet backhaul as I have no interest in the mesh tech itself but more about a decent WiFi range, and proper WiFi roaming support.
Last but not least, will it offer AdGuard Home? It will be replacing my Convexa-S and I have noticed the latest beta firmware lack AdGuard Home. I see AdGuard Home advertised on the Velica product page but I wanted to make sure.
