Windows AD Domain Integration

Like many of you, I imagine, I use my GLiNet router/wifigateway as the sole gateway/router on my home network. It is the only device connected to the DSL router/wifigateway/modem Pace device which goes out to AT&T. I have learned how to use LuCi to properly configure a number of the packages, but otherwise it is totally ignorant of my small on-premises Azure-connected Windows Active Directory Domain. I've let that be, just forcing everything to use my domain controllers as their DNS, and that's the extent of it. But, I'm aware of how Samba 4 is pretty well along and OpenWRT has been around a looong time, so I am now reasoning that there is a variety of scattered packages for my GlInet that would enable some useful level of integration with the domain. I also reason there must be someone who made a big tutorial and maintains it, but I can't find anything. Could someone or the admins point me toward the relevant resources here? I couldn't find anything though I didn't spend long. Thanks in advance!

Don't do it.

A router is an important part of network security, mostly. But on the GL routers everything runs as root and the samba4 configuration is pretty broken (very low level of security).

A router isn't a NAS either.

Use the GL router as the reason it was created: For routing. All other stuff will make a lot more work than it will be useful.

Just my 2 cents about it.
