Hi there,
My Plan: Access the Internet with the IP of my HomeISP from anywhere
Fritzbox + Slate AXT 1800 with Wireguardserver + Beryl as Travelrouter to access the Home-Internet
I do not know if this make sence. Do i need AstroRelay or GoodCloud ? Will i have trouble with DDNS. Is it better to buy a Raspi and use NordVPN´s Meshnet ?
I also work and need to connect to Fortynet on my Work-Laptop using Genesys for phoneCalls.
So a low Jitter, Ping ect. is wanted. The Beryl is tethered with iPhone. Where are the bottlenecks ?
The Slate is connected via WAN with the Fritzbox.
Thanks for your input.

Which ISP do you use? That's the most important question here.

1&1 at the fritzbox and vodaphone albania at the tethered beryl

Is your 1&1 contract with CGNAT or without? Meaning: Do they offer you a public IPv4 address or just "DS-lite"?

just DS-Lite, i would need to ask them for CGNAT

DS-Lite is CGNAT on IPv4 - this will make it way more difficult to use traditional VPN because you can't open IPv4 ports.

thx// understand.. i will try to convice them:
I need VPN connections and have to connect from the office to my home via VPN. In the office there is only IPv4. That's why i need to set up port forwarding at home.
That's what the admins in the office told me.
i got it right ?

Yeah, but they mostly won't care. It depends on your contract mostly.
If this fails, you might need to use AstroRelay or Tailscale instead.
