I have got 50/17 Mbps plan, and I do my backup offsite (brothers house), I use Wireguard to connect and good sync does the job. the backup is taking awfully lot of time to finish, the speed it does backup is averaging 2.43 Mbps.
been browsing a lot, suggestions were to change MTU, i have changed from 1400 to 1330, but makes no difference, is there anything i am missing on configs that i need to change.
What type of connection does your ISP use (cable, fiber, cellular)? Same question for your brother’s house and what are his download/upload speeds?
both have fiber at home, he has the same 50/17 Mbps

I’m assuming your brother is NOT behind CGNAT? Also, have you performed an internet speed test while connected to your brother’s house via WireGuard to test the raw connection?
