Dear Admin,

I am using GL-X3000 - 4.0 0704release5, and RM520NGLAAR03A04M4G

I am facing a problem with Lock Tower Function,
I am only able to lock LTE tower for 5G NSA.

My provider has 5G NSA and 5G SA. when i remove the LTE Lock , my modem will connect to 5G SA tower.

However, I not am able to lock it to 5G SA tower. I always get an error asking me to check network or reboot.

Is it possible to LOCK TOWER to 5G SA Tower?

It might be the 5G tower you've locked is restricted and does not allow the sim card to connect.
Did you try another 5G SA tower?

Alternatively, check the tower ID when the sim card is connected to 5G SA network, then lock the sim card to the 5G tower with the same ID to see if it works.

The tower im trying to lock to is the tower that the router connects to automatically.

I only notice the issue when trying to lock to 5G SA.

Locking on LTE tower is fine.

Can we have a remote check via Goodcloud?

My device can lock to 5G tower and functions properly. your issue might be related to the router config or the network environment.

i think the software is buggy, in the end, i did a Factory Reset/Reboot, and after that, i am able to LOCK to 5G SA tower.

The issue seems to have been caused by some configuration on the router.
But anyway, glad to hear it's working now :grinning_face:
