Hello, I want to use the router as a hotspot with an e-sim from ho*fly (on an eiot sim). Unfortunately, despite "unlimited", it stops after around 500MB. I have already set the TTL to 65, both in the manual configuration area and as a firewall rule. But it still stops after 500MB. Pinging via the Luci console does not work either. Pinging to 1.1.1.1 seems to work though. If I plug the card into a google pixel, does it continue to work? Is there any workaround? Firmware is 0704release5 (4.0)
Many thanks in advance
Greetings
Didi
Hi,
Is the X3000 using the ho*fly profile of eSIM?
Please check the profile you are using in eSIM management.
Yes, I‘m using the Right Profile. (Not the Seeding)
As the data limit has just been reset, I was able to test it again. I activate the corresponding SIM card, then I can download around 500 MB and that's it. The connection in the router is still shown as active and I can reconnect without any problems. But no data is transferred, whether I connect to an iPhone via wifi or use ping directly or traceroute via luci. Nothing goes through. After 24 hours it works again for 500mb
I switched to bytesim. It works by now
Hi,
I see, this part of the traffic should be for network sharing, like hotpots/tethering.
X3000 cannot bypass this limit, this is from ISP limit, and they use various technical means to identify traffic.
