X750 (spitz) bricked?

I tried to flash the std OpenWRT 23.05 release onto my x750 and now it doesn't even boot. When I power on only the internet LED is on and never blinks, reset button pressed or not.
I hooked up serial and this is what I see:

It never continues after this, whether I have reset pressed or not. Did I kill this device?

You flashed the plain OpenWrt image, I assume? Not the sysupgrade one?
In that case, you might need to go through this here: [OpenWrt Wiki] Installing OpenWrt

Depending on what the flashing process did, you might be not able to get back to GL firmware without further help from the support team.

I flashed the sysupgrade image
I cannot follow the instructions you linked to, the device doesn't progress past what is shown in my screenshot above.
I'm wondering whether I need to reflash uBoot to the SPI flash chip?

Edit: can I download the u-boot image for this device anywhere?

That's the linux firmware, it does not include U-Boot as far as I can tell?

I ended up recovering the dead X750 by cloning the flash chip from a second working X750 that I had. Took a while, but at least it now works again.

Guess you won't be able to map both to GoodCloud then because the serial and device numbers are the same.
