2.4GHz repeater mode in firmware 4.5 / 4.6

Has anybody gotten Repeater Mode with a 2.4GHz uplink working stably in firmware 4.5 and/or 4.6?

I'm just curious, because I've tried several times with different uplink networks (I move around a lot) and have never once gotten it working stably on 2.4GHz.

Devices include (if I recall correctly) Slate AX, Beryl AX, Slate Plus.

It's probably frustrating for the devs to read these posts of mine with vague/fuzzy details, but my life is in an uproar and I'm rarely in one place (and on one uplink network) for long enough to settle down and test methodically.

So, if others are having these problems with 4.x Repeater Mode on 2.4 GHz, I hope to collect some evidence and maybe specific symptoms in this thread.

Can you get the log when you have problems?

It don't think it is general issue.

My GL A1300 works perfectly as repeater/router in all of the abt. 20 hotels I visited until now.
I can build my own network, connect my internet-radio, use wireguard to my FritzBox at home, connect a DMR-gateway via LAN and laptops via WLAN.

For me it's the best travel-router I ever had.
