2x MT-3000 WDS problem

I am using 2x MT-3000 routers, one as the main router and the other one in WDS mode.

Both have the latest firmware as I write this (4.6.4).

I notice that if one of the routers is rebooted, the connection between them will be made using the 2.4ghz network ( both 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks have the same SSID ).

Preferably, they should always use the 5ghz network between them.

Am I missing something?

I have tried lots of things without result.

Only disabling the 2.4ghz network in the primary router works, that way the secondary router will use the 5ghz network everytime ( at least with firmware 4.6.4 ).

Thanks.

If the SSID of the 2.4GHz and 5GHz are the same, the WDS connection of the secondary router unaware to know which the 5GHz SSID, and WDS does not support the BSSID lock.

Ok, thanks.
