4.7.0 Wifi Bug

I have just updated to the main line 4.7.0 firmware on my MT6000 and all appears to be working apart from an issue with the wifi.

So I have 5G guest mode as my only wifi connection.

I noticed that when the SSID is hidden and I connect my primary phone (OnePlus 10pro) that it will work but when I connect another device (old phone) and if I disconnect my primary phone, I then can't see my SSID.

I then have to reboot the router or change the SSID to non hidden to get my primary phone to connect to the 5G guest wifi again.

Though, my old phone can still connect fine to the wifi. Hidden or not hidden.

Happy to PM logs upon request.

Edit: Also, one other bug is that the time zone keeps defaulting to "Atlantic/Reykjavik".

Also noticed my wifi points are saying ---/-256dBm?

Anyone had this issue?

From which version did you update?

I updated from the 4.7.0 beta to the new release of 4.7.0.

Seems it kicked into life when my old phone (motorola G62) connected to it. My Oneplus the connected but when I switch the SSID back to hidden and disconnect wifi on my OnePlus, it then cant reconnect as it cant find the SSID.

The Moto connected fine when the SSID is hidden or shown.

Did you change between normal firmware and -op24 by chance?
If that's the case mostly an reset is required because the Wi-Fi driver changed.

I've had 4.6.6-op23 previously but I was on 23.05.5 last week before switching to the 4.7 beta at the start of this week.

Is it just a normal reset via the GUI or do I need to manually upload the new 4.7 build again?

Normal reset via GUI is sufficient.

A reset of the router did not fix the issue. My OnePlus 10 pro cannot connect to the 5G guest wifi when it is hidden. :frowning:

Upon further investigation, seem both my devices struggle to detect the hidden ssid when the channel is set manually. When its left on auto both connect and I can constantly disconnect wifi on both and they still reconnect.

Though, the second device to connect can take longer to connect. Such as 20 seconds or so.
