5G GL-X3000 cellular data used tracking not working

5G GL-X3000 cellular data used tracking is not working properly for me and data reset I don't think is implemented. This is for me very important feature, as I am on restricted cellular data plan (T mobile Croatia, 80 GB monthly). I am average user of factory implemented functions.

Current firmware: Version 4.0, Type: 0704release5, modem version: RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G

Am I missing something and if I am not, are there any plans to implement this feature?

Hello,

I would like to ask if the data traffic statistics are inaccurate?
Is the statistics not reset? If you want to reset the statistics, please uncheck the "Save data when power off" and reboot the router.

Hello!

Regarding inaccuracy of traffic statistics, good example is last month: I used all traffic (80GB) by 2025-03-28 (till the end of month no internet in house!) and according to modem - router only around 5 GB were used.

This month (2025-04-07) situation is :

and according to previous months traffic should be around 14 GB.

Also for reference, during five months of GL-X3000 use, according to GL-X3000 I never reached 10 GB traffic and according to my provider I used around 60 GB/month (this traffic is in good correlation with previous TP-Link TL-MR6400 modem - router measurements).

"Save data when power off" function I use, but I think it should be automated, as on my previous two modem - routers (user can choose date of reset and frequency: daily, monthly...).

Hi,

Could you refer to the link below to share device with GL.iNet to check:

We want to modify the router config. You can PM me the device MAC and login info after sharing the device. Thanks

Hello @Ivo

The traffic statistics function will be optimized in future FW versions.
The current issue may be related to the "Save data when power off" option. We‘ve enabled it and added some configs to router. You can continue to use it and see if issue persists. Thank you

Hello!

Thank You for the current effort. I will monitor traffic and I hope for some improvement.

I hope that in future FW version(s) traffic monitor will incorporate automatic data reset. It is illogical to me that I can control LEDs in detail and no automatic data control at all (essential modem feature)?!

Thanks for the suggestion. The traffic data reset feature is under developing, will add it in the future version.

Which service is responsible for tracking data usage? I think I may have disabled it.
