5ghz+6ghz MLO doesn't seem to work properly on Flint 3

MLO works fine for 2.4ghz+5ghz.

Initially I enabled MLO for 2.4ghz, 5ghz and 6ghz. But it only connects to 2.4ghz+5ghz. I tried on pc which has the intel be200 wlan card, then on phone. Both have the same behavior.

If i only enable mlo for 5ghz and 6ghz only. My both devices sometimes connect to 5ghz+6ghz, then sometime later switches to only 6ghz. And sometimes only connects to 6ghz on that mlo ssid

I tested on another router tp link be 550 which supports MLO for 5ghz + 6ghz only. MLO works fine on that router with both of my devices always connects to 5ghz+6ghz and doesn't switch to 6ghz only.

I attached screenshots of my current wifi settings

I am on the beta firmware 4.8.1 on flint 3 . I didn't install any openwrt package other than SQM.

Hi,

We've tested the Intel BE200 Wi-Fi card and found that it sometimes only works on one frequency band on MLO routers. This issue also occurs with routers from other manufacturers. I'd like to confirm some information with you and conduct further testing.

  1. How do you check the frequency band on which your client is connecting to the MLO Wi-Fi?

  2. What is your phone model?

  3. Are your Windows operating system and wireless drivers up to date?

  4. What is the current firmware version on your Tplink BE550?

I can add to discussion, MLO on Oneplus 13 is connected with one band.

  1. I managed to get MLO for 5ghz+6ghz this time. here is the screenshot that shows the network bands on windows 11. it will switch back to 6ghz only after some time. The exact same behavior is on my phone as well.

  1. My phone is Pixel 8 Pro.

  2. I have the latest wifi driver as of right now. I updated windows yesterday but still the same behaviour.

  3. The firmware version I have installed for be 550 is V1_1.1.2 Build 20250317 which is the latest as of right now. The hardware version is v1. please note that be550 supports mlo for 5ghz+6ghz only (Not for 2.4ghz).

try the latest stable firmware 4.8.1
this helped me with MLO (5Ghz + 6Ghz), before this firmware MLO sometimes only utilize one band even both bands showing connected. After updating the firmware I get much stable MLO connection.
I know most of the time it's end device issue since MLO genernally not stable for almost all brands. (mine's xiaomi 14 Ultra)
