A1300 Travel Router

A1300 travel router.

Hello! I did hard reset to my router. During the setup, I tried setting the initial password and everytime, I get the following error:
"Unknown error occurred. Please check the network environment or reboot the device"

Things I've tried with no success:

  • Soft reset
  • Unplug power, wait 30 sec, plug power back in
  • Edge and Chrome browser
  • Incognito/Private mode for each browser
  • Different passwords (all conform to strong password rules)
  • Connect from cellular
  • Turned off cellular service on phone and tried to connect

My laptop doesn't have a LAN port, so I can only connect to the router wirelessly. Help!

Please try using a password consisting only of numbers and letters.
If possible, after successfully logging in to the management page, update to the beta firmware version V4.7.2.
