AC-1200 power supply substitution. Any issues

Hi
I am using the AC-1200 router on a portable telescope mount to provide a local networek in the field.
For telescopes, almost all equipment uses 12V DC. SO I wondered if the router wouled work at 12V. So I hooked up a bench power supply and inadvertently supplied 16V DC. It worked. I then decived to try 24VDC and it also worked.
So, I am feeding it now with a 12V power supply with no issues. Can you see any?
Thanks

Sorry, what router model you mean? SFT1200, ST1200, or?

I guess SF1200? Since this one nominal voltage is 12V.

The safe operating voltage is 12V.
Please do not enter 16V or 24V for a long time.

If it is working for a long time, it still requires a stable 12V voltage. Also recommended to use the official attached power supply.

Hi

Thanks. Yes it is the sft1200. The power supply is very stable at exactly 12.0 volts.

Very good to know.

Best regards, Tom

SFT1200 design voltage is 5 volts.

Please use it carefully.
