AC1200: Wifi drops when enabling repeater

I have an AC1200 configured with a local 2.4 local wifi network, with some devices connected over wifi and some wired.

When I enable repeater and connect it to my home 2.4 wifi, it connects fine, and all the wired devices have internet access. However all of the wifi connected devices lose their connection. Running a network scan shows no sign of the local wifi network. If I disable the repeater mode, the local wifi appears again.

I've tried lots of combinations of enabling/disabling the different networks in different orders. I'm out of ideas as to what is happening here.

Any suggestions on what I can try to debug and fix this?

Hello,

Is the model SFT1200?

If the repeater connected and work find, makes the local WiFi network (SSID) will disappear, including the 5G SSID?

Is there the USB of SFT1200 connect any device?

Please try upgrading manually to latest (beta) firmware:

If no luck, please PM me the issue syslog.

Hi @bruce - yes this is a SFT1200. It is already running the beta firmware, and there is nothing attached to the USB.

I'll PM you the syslog.

Thanks!
