Access Domain From Lan

Router: Flint2
Firmware: 4.6.2 release1

Hello, I have a domain example.com, I have changed the web UI to port 9030 and have port forwarded nginx to 80/443.

I can access nginx from the domain when outside my LAN (VPN/Mobile), but inside LAN I get "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE".

What is your goal? I can‘t really understand.

To be able to access my domain from LAN

And this isn't a real domain and only hosted internally?

It's a real domain, can access it when connected to a VPN or on mobile data, just not when connected to the router.

Guess you will need to provide more information.
What is the domain? Can you curl it directly from your router? Can you ping it? Where is the domain hosted?

I don't want to give the exact domain, but it's hosted on a server on my network (192.168.8.149). when using ping it returns the local IP, but curl gives gives '(52) Empty reply from server'

I would guess that your servers http server is the issue. Maybe it is not allowed to serve local clients?

ah, you know what, the issue was I didn't think to whitelist my lan subnet from my nginx geoblocking.

I'm sorry for wasting your time
