Access USB modem interface

I use an USB modem. Its default IP is 192.168.1.1.
I haven’t changed my gl-inet router IP address from its default 192.168.8.1.

If I ssh into 192.168.8.1 I can ping and wget http://192.168.1.1 , but from any client I can’t get there.

For what its worth, the modem is detected as Android tethering.

I would like to change some modem’s settings but I can’t in any way.

Please help,

Nevermind, I found it. I had to disable the VPN, it was trying to get to 192.168.1.1 through it.

Thanks,

If you’re using Wireguard, you can setup AllowedIPs in Wireguard config, so that client traffic to your modem isn’t routed to the VPN.
