Accessing web admin interface behind Wireguard

Hey team!

I have a Slate (not the AX, the 1st gen) router which is set as a Wireguard server and clients that connect to it (e.g.: my personal laptop or mobile device).

But is it possible to access the web admin interface (the one that usually lives at 192.168.8.1) when connected as a client? Simply typing in the IP address of the router does not load the page.

I recognize it may need a bit more configuration but I’m not sure what to do, any lead?

Thanks in advance!

Yup; using WG as you do means your laptop is now on a completely different network.

That’s probably going to have to be an adjustment to the firewall ruleset when WG Server is active. I don’t have the skills for it to be certain of a solution but fortunately @robotluo seems quite good at communicating back changes the devs come up with to fixes to bugs like this.

Yes all you have to do is allow Remote Access LAN on the server then you should be able to access the server admin panel through its server IP or its LAN IP (assuming it doesn't conflict with a travel router if you're using one).
