AdGuard loopback response time

Hi, I have been checking the stats on my AdGuard (Flint 2). My understanding is that the 2 addresses in particular are loopback addresses. Why do they have such a high response time and is it anything to be concerned about?

Why do you have loopback addresses in your Upstreams?

I don’t know, should I not have them?

This is quoted from the Adguard Home blog post:

“AdGuard Home is basically a DNS proxy that sends your DNS queries to the upstream servers. You can specify multiple upstream servers in AdGuard Home settings, or you can even specify a DNS server that will be used to resolve specific domains.”

The upstream servers resolve queries that are not stored locally from a previous request. So, no you shouldn't have a loopback in the upstream settings.

I use NextDNS and ControlD for my upstream servers. They both have strict no logging policies for their public DNS servers. Cloudflare and Google DNS are popular choices for their quick response times. I also use the encrypted versions which stops your ISP from reading your DNS queries.
