Currently, I’m using Pi_Hole running on my NAS. Later today, I’ll disable Pi=Hole and try it again. Thanks.
Dear Sir,
any chance to build/compile this firmware with Adguard included for my GL-B1300 on my own ?
Regards
My pleasure, B1300 available now.
Great ! Thanks a lot !
Is there a way to list the individual clients on the Adguard home page?
Dear developers,
on GL-B1300 there is a big problem with free Ram after adding a few filter-sources.
If you take a look in menu “Applications - Plug ins”, the amount of free Ram is 0%.
On my two B1300 devices, I am not able to change VPN-Settings, Kill-Switch setting and so on anymore. Even after a restart.
Checked it also on AR750s —> no problems.
Regards from Germany
I’m noticing the same on my B1300, only 1% free space although my second one still running 3.102 only has 9% free space so I don’t think there’s much space to work with
Many thanks indeed. Is this available for the Brume?
When will we get a chance to use it on ar750 (original)?
Is this the information you need?
Running AdGuardHome requires a minimum of 32M flash and an AR750 of 16M.
what if we are running with extroot with u1 microsd card on ar750 like I do. Can we do a manual install?
(just looked nice in the gl-inet ui web admin interface)
Thanks for this.
Just had a quick experimental play around with it on one of my AR750s. Much more informative and easier and more powerful than adblock.
Keep up the great work!
Sure, I’m going to be providing a software package for users of extroot.
I think the problem is probably caused by FLASH. After installing AdGuardHome, the available space of FLASH becomes very small, only about 2M. At this point, if you add filter source, FLASH will be consumed quickly.
For 32M flash devices, I may need to keep the filter list in ram.
AdGuardHome is written in golang, and go writes code that requires a lot of virtual memory.
In B1300, AdGuardHome will apply for about 800M virtual memory, but the actual physical memory is about 30M, which will not affect the performance of the router.
I tried to compile Brume’s AdguardHome firmware today and encountered some problems. I will provide Brume firmware after I solve these problems.
Shall wait in anticipation. Thank you.
Mv1000 (Brume) is available now.
Brilliant. Can’t wait to try it out.
