Mac addresses cannot be manually entered in the IOS app. This prevents the use of the IOS app while using private wifi address. Since marriott’s captive portal never shows up, I have to use my device to log into their captive portal. If I’ve used private wifi address, the address is not abled to be cloned to the router. I will not turn off private wifi address to log into an unsecured hotel captive portal.
