Amarok x1200 modem stopped working

Hi, working with an Amarok.
Last Saturday I updated to latest version. 4G modem hangs since then. Tried to revert firmware to 3.105 but same result. Since then SIM cards are not registered. See picture.
Checking attached syslogs, modem seems to hangup when trying to connect, albeit some AT commands are interchanged.
Strange is the thermal setting failed message on boot while trying to init modem.
Already tried with several working SIM cards from several providers. Always same result.

This only happens to one modem, right? The other modem is working OK?

Can you reset the modem? Also try to lock the modem in 4G or 3G mode so that it does not roam to 2G.

AT command to lock to 4G LTE

AT+QCFG="nwscanmode",3,1

AT command to lock to go back to auto

AT+QCFG="nwscanmode",0,1

Hi, thanks for your answer,

Well I reset the modem, rebooted, set it up manually/auto several times, same results.
I have also forced 4G mode through AT commands. Nothing changes.

Following another topic in the forum, I removed mwan3 (2.8 version), updated and re-installed (2.6 version was installed). No changes.

I tried with the other SIM card slot but nothing is detected (I’m no pretty sure that it is active/exists). Nothing on dmesg or syslogs regarding modem when using this slot. It doesn’t even detect the carrier name as when using SIM slot 1. Indeed, my /etc/config/network file does only have one modem interface “modem_1_1_2”. See picture.

One thing is I can’t understand is why if the modem is mounted as /dev/ttyUSB4, as this is the one which answers AT commands and return the IMEI of my SIM card, then during the modem reset process it’s binded to /dev/ttyUSB5 just before the hangup. See syslog:

Can you reset the firmware and start over?

If still cannot work I may just call customer servie.

Ok, thanks. I did it and seems to work now. Anyway I think there’s still some problem on the background.

Thanks for reporting.
