AmnesiaWG client on Brume2

Hi there, our VPN provider (Windscribe) awesomely supports AmnesiaWG.

What is the FW version/timeline to have this feature on Brume2? I am finding more and more websites here in Australia blocking access from VPN-connected devices. In some cases, I can see why they would do this, even if I don’t agree with it. Others though, make no sense at all. Just wanker site admins I guess.

I have 2 x Brume2 devices as a redundant pair for all devices on the LAN to access the internet, so supporting AmnesiaWG (ideally v2.0+) client on the Brume2 would be the easiest route to implement site-wide…moving to client-side apps will be a support nightmare.

Hi

We plan to introduce support for AmneziaWG on Brume 2 in v4.9. Initially, it will likely support AmneziaWG 1.0, with AmneziaWG 1.5/2.0 support possibly coming in later updates.

The v4.9 firmware for Brume 2 is expected to be released in Q2 or Q3.
