Have you tried the bootloader recovery? Is that not working either?

Please try to install the X3000 firmware in uboot mode, refer Shannon's guide.
Kindly note, the uboot URL is http://192.168.1.1/uboot.html
I tried that. Customer service says they will ship a new unit.
I was contacted by Customer Service to provide MAC and shipping address.
I provided as requested.

This has been a very painful process. So many hoops jumped through TWICE and more. I did every procedures asked to twice or more, and answered every question twice more.
I was told to ship the unit. I did that.
I was told return had been acknowledged.
I was told I would receive tracking for the replacement unit. No updates for 48 hours. Curious to find out if it is just notifications and the replacement will arrive near the date promised or something else.
Replacement unit arrive.
Installation. Perfect.
Update to 4.7.4. Perfect.
