Hi,
I just bought an AP1300LTE and was hoping to use its WAN interface for my Australian NBN-HFC connection.
My provider is TPG and they hand off on VLAN 100
I tried to create that interface the usual way in /etc/config/network:
config interface ‘wan’
option ifname ‘eth0.100’
option proto ‘static’
option ipaddr ‘x.x.x.x’
option netmask ‘255.255.255.252’
option gateway ‘y.y.y.y’
option dns ‘1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1’
option metric ‘10’
But it didn’t work - no success. That config did work on the GL-X750 though.
So my question - does the AP1300 not support VLANs on the WAN interface, and if so, why not?
Please refering to this link:
Hi, in stock firmware, following configuration make B1300 wan as vlan 88.
config interface 'loopback'
option ifname 'lo'
option proto 'static'
option ipaddr '127.0.0.1'
option netmask '255.0.0.0'
config globals 'globals'
option ula_prefix 'auto'
config interface 'lan'
option ifname 'eth1'
option force_link '1'
option type 'bridge'
option proto 'static'
option ipaddr '192.168.1.1'
option netmask '255.255.25…
AP1300 vlan is the same as B1300.

Hi @thermonuclear_pickle , I am also with TPG (well, a subsidiary of TPG), and had the same issue with a S1300. It was not a welcome surprise. But I was intending to flash OpenWRT anyway, which affords a driver workaround. See here:
