Ar-750 problem after 2.271 update

After updating to the 2.271 firmware image for Ar-750 i get frequent deauth from the wireless gateway it is connected to while using a vpn. If I’m not using the vpn my connection is rock solid. I think this is being caused by gl-health, is there a way to adjust the values before gl-health restarts my wireless connection?

Can you just kill it?

just rename gl-health so that the system cannot restart this service.

Then reboot your router.

I did try to disable it in the startup option in luci. When i do this tho i still get disconnected from the wireless but it won’t reconnect automatically. To be honest i don’t know that it is caused by gl-health I’ll try to attach a log. Maybe you can see something in there to help me fix (7.9 KB)

I didn’t see gl_health from the log.

I suggest you rename the file because it could be weak up by the settings.

Also please try to disable mwan3, luci->network->load balance
It could change network if it failed to check the network connectivity. You can remove all mwan3 configuration or remove it completely.

opkg remove mwan3 luci-app-mwan3

I don’t see an option to disable mwan3 in luci. Also if I’m using a vpn then mwan3 shows all my connections being offline. And like i said earlier if i disable gl-health my wifi will disconnect and sit there saying connecting but never getting there. I realize now gl-health is a compiled binary so probably not able to be tuned, but I’m still wondering why my wifi is restarting every time my vpn does.

Oh, and i forgot to mention I’m still seeing kernel crashes with the 2.271 update. An example:

I am testing WISP with Openvpn in my side. Let’s wait a while and see.
