AR-750s and Huawei E3372 - constant disconnecting

Hi! As the title suggests, I have just bought a 750 which works great with repeating wifi networks or with ethernet connections. However, when I try to use it with my Huawei E3372 4G dongle, it sees it correctly but constantly connects and then disconnects. The dongle functions normally when connected to a PC directly.

Any ideas? I’m new to these devices, so not sure what logs or diagnostic info I could provide to be helpful.

Thank you very much!

Can you provide your system log?
You can execute logread in the background.

Hi, thanks for the fast response!

Because I am a new user I can’t provide the log as an attachment or upload the whole log, so I am pasting an extract below. The rest just repeats this.

Thanks for your help!

It looks like the power is not enought.
Did you use our original adapter?

Interesting. Yes, I am using the adapter that came with the router, which is apparently outputting 2000mA at 5V.

I’ve now connected it to a higher rated PSU. Will test for a bit and report back.

Hi,

So, I have changed to a power supply putting out 2400mA and used a different cable. It seems to be much more stable now. I’m running some tests (downloading big files, YouTube etc) to be sure, but it looks good now. Thank you!
