I bought Slate AX from amazon and have tested it extensively before my trip. Last night, when I arrived to my destination and had VPN client running. Everything was fine for a good 5 hours, then I noticed the connection was a bit flaky. So I logged in to the admin portal to investigate. During this, I was prompted to update to lastest firmware.Thinking it would resolve my the flakiness issue so I went ahead and performed the update using the admin portal. After that, I'm able no longer see the access points nor could I connect via ethernet (I am on a MacBook M1).
Few things I tried:
- 5 seconds hard set on the side. No blinks but solid white light
- Followed the guide to perform uboot (held reset button then connect usb c to power on). But was only able to a see solid white light. Still not blinking light that was expected.
Not sure what else I could do to fix this. Any help would appreciated.
