AX1800 - 403 error after login to luci GUI (advanced settings)

I'm not able to access the luci GUI of my AX1800 router. After clicking on the advanced settings link in the gl-inet GUI I get redirected to the login screen and after entering the correct credentials the site just answer with 403 forbidden. If I enter wrong credentials I'm getting an error message.

System details:

  • GLi-Net AX1800
  • Official firmware version 4.6.8
  • No proxy used

Things I've tried:

  • Rebooting / power cycle
  • Downgrading to an older official firmware
  • Accessing the luci gui from other devices and browsers, clearing cookies
  • Accessing through http and https
  • Directly going to http:///cgi-bin/luci, not through the gli-net gui

Have you installed other plugins on the router?
Please try to press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds to restore the factory settings. And test again.
