AX1800 anyone using Mullvad encrypted public DNS service?

I’d like to use it but Mullvad is not listed as a DNS provider in Network DNS settings. Only Cloudfare and NextDNS are listed. Tried specifying a Mullvad DNS IP address (194.242.2.5) in the Network > Mode > Manual setting but that failed - couldn’t access web pages.

This only works for un-encrypted dns.

Maybe you can enabled adguard home and set up encrypted dns there.

So my question remains - is there a way to enable Mullvad encrypted DNS service in the AX1800 firmware or OpenWRT?

In any case you can use AdGuard Home as an DNS forwarder to the Mullvad DNS service.
