I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get internet when tethering with Android. I can get a tether connection but it says Internet Not Available and the 5G internet works fine. The Router Docs 4 says go to Settings/Personal Hotspot/USB Network sharing....I have a Samsung S22 and this path doesn't exist. I search for USB Network Sharing and get nothing. I google this and this seems to be a common problem but I'm not seeing any solutions. Please help!
Can you USB tether your S22 to your computer example in windows 10 when you USB tether you get a blue side bar connection request and you can click yes or no. Click YES
Q) can you browse the internet on your PC with the S22. (dont forget to turn off any other internet connections to the PC)
Some carriers restrict tethering on certain plans. Does your plan allow tethering?
After plugging the USB cord into the phone are you changing the USB function on the phone from charging to tethering? This is something I need to do when tethering with my Google Pixel phone.
