AXT 1800 (slate) - additional way to internet using a SIM card?

Dear all,

I'm using an AXT 1800 (slate), which acts as router with VPN to the internet.
It connects through a RJ-45 cable to my Fritz!Box (DSL).

Sadly my internet connection (DSL) has too often issues and I may have no internet for minutes or hours.
I'm considering buying a mobile data subscription and put a SIM card into the router.

First question : It is supported to have 2 "sources" for internet in a single AXT 1800 ? If so - can I use both together or do I have to switch?

Second question : Can someone pls. provide me a link to a good (English or German) manual for using internet through mobile data with the AXT 1800?

First thing first, the AXT1800 ist not a mobile (LTE/5g) travel router, refer to this post

First thing first, microSD (TF card) and microSIM card (Sim card) are two different things

Second, the AX1800 (Flint1) the AXT1800 (Slate AX) are NOT cellular routers (4g/5g routers) aka routers that use mobile operators waves to serve you a wifi connection, for that look at:

I don't know why, but I always thought, that the slot is for a SIM card
