Guys with issues, you could try buying some aluminum tape or copper tape and covering the usb stick with it. It should remove any interference. They sell a special conductive tape with conductive adhesive for this purpose that would work even better. You would want the tape to touch the USB plug metal as well i that case.
Copper tape is cheap at garden supply stores, it is used to combat slugs in gardens. The slugs touch the tape and basically shock themselves (their nerves short circuit).
