Hi,
i have an AXT1800 Slate travelrouter with 4.6.0 release1 Firmware connected with an GL-M2 5G Development Board. The modem on the M2 board has the Firmware RM520NGLAAR01A07M4G installed.
In these thread Upgrade Quectel Module Software - GL.iNet Router Docs 4 i have read about firmware update for the Quectel 5G modem. But the manuel shows not information for my AXT1800 Slate.
Also in these thread Flashing Quectel on X3000 Spitz AX? - #56 by logi i found these steps to update the modem firmware: (But also only for x3000-spitz-ax)
SSH into your router and then do the following:
1.cd /
2.mkdir firmware
3.cd firmware
4.download the new firmware with wget
5.unzip RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.201.01.201.zip -d RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.201.01.201
6.QFilehose -f RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.201.01.201
7.reboot
Ask1: Which options i have to update the firmware from my 5G modem on my AXT1800 Slate?
Ask2: Why connected the modem on the M2 Board only to 4G and not 5G? (By checking my SIM-Card in my phone, the phone connecting without problems to 5G)
