[BE3600] Usteer not working

Hello,
I installed the usteer plugin and the service itself starts fine.
It even "hears" my other usteer installation on the net but:

  • no client station is detected by it (for the records, they do not even appear on the wireless page on LuCI)
  • no other usteer is reporting it alive (maybe because this one has "nothing to say" given the above?)

Any ideas?

Hello,

Since Qualcomm closed-source QSDK is not perfect for Luci, there may be abnormalities in Luci wireless related configuration.

In addition, roaming requires wireless driver support, while QSDK closed-source drivers do not support 802.11 roaming for the time being.

We feedback on Qualcomm, to see and wait for improvement.

Is this the same root cause of the wifi metrics missing from the Prometheus collectors when running on the BE3600?

It's possible.
I guess that kernel doesn't provide these metrics.
