BE6500 and the listed "plugins"

I just bought a BE6500 to replace my old Asus router. I have a DDNS from noip.com and I’d REALLY like to be able to use it instead of the default one. I noticed there is a ddns-noip plugin, but I can find absolutely no documentation on how to use plugins or even where they’re located in the directory structure. I’m familiar with using ssh into the router. Can someone point me to any available documentation on plugins?

Yes, the steps related to the Luci app are generally the same across different models.
