BE9300 / Flint 3 : Why the Admin console cannot be accessed from client on the physical Ethernet port.
The router is setup as router, not AP. I have a client connected with a physical Ethernet cable. Why is it that the admin console is available from a non-Guest wifi SSID but times out when the host is connected to one of the non-WAN Ethernet ports?
What is the IP address of your client when using the Ethernet cable? You should be able to connect to the admin console without issue. It’s definitely something wrong with the connection.
Without knowing your network setup, I can imagine that at the WAN port is also 192.168.8.0/24 as network. So the router does not know at which port it should bind the web interface … but this is only a wild guess.
