Berryl AX and (in)compatible modem

Hello,
I bought the router to have a solid and versatile connection point when I travel because I read fantastic reviews and opinions.
I also needed for a cellular modem to be used with it. I didn't find any particular list or recommendation and I would go as cheaper as possible just to try it.
So I bought an USB to M.2 B Key adaptor and a Fibocom L850-Gl modem.
Unfortunately when I plugged the modem into the router the router told me that the modem was incompatible.
is there any way to have the Fibocom working with the Berryl AX? Am I missing something to have it working?
Is there any recommended list of cheaper 4G/LTE modem?

P.S: Try Thethering mode. Some modems work in it.

I tried a couple fo manual configuration but when I saw that it was still not working also via thethering I bought a different modem included in the recommended list.
